Here’s how the payments work: 

When you sell a book, you will receive the buyer’s contact details. Contact the buyer, meet up and exchange the book. You must meet within 5 days. 

The buyer has been sent a 4 digit UnidBooks collection code. When you meet the buyer, ask them for the code and enter the code here and you will be paid. The code must be entered within 7 days to ensure you get paid. 

The money will be transferred to your Stripe account the funds will be transferred to your bank account. 

Seller fees

When you sell a book, UnidBooks will charge a 10% ‘seller fee’. This fee, along with the 80p transaction fee, will be automatically deducted before we transfer your funds to you.

For example, if you sell a book for £15:

• UnidBooks fee (10%) = £1.50
• Transaction fee = £0.80

Your profit: £12.70

Yes! That’s what we’re all about. Make sure that you accurately describe the condition of the book in the description when uploading your books onto the site. There is also an option to add additional images that show the condition of the book in greater detail.

Check your email! We have sent you an email with the buyer’s contact details. Message them to arrange a time and place to meet up and give them the book. Remember you need to meet within 5 days! When you meet the buyer and give them the book you need to ask them for the 4 digit collection code. Enter this code  here  to get paid!

Sometimes people need a little nudge! Send them another email and also contact them via phone (we gave you their number in the order confirmation email). If you don’t hear back from them within 5 days, please get in touch at info@unidbooks.co.uk.
