Buying
It is the buyer’s responsibility to contact UnidBooks if the buyer does not receive the book within five days from the sale date. For example if the sale was made on the 1st September 2020, the buyer and seller will have until 23.59 o’clock on the 5th September 2020 to meet up and exchange the book. If the book is not exchanged within this time period the buyer then has a further 24 hour notification period to contact UnidBooks. If the buyer does not contact UnidBooks within this time, UnidBooks cannot guarantee a refund of the money paid by the buyer. This is because your money is put on hold throughout this time period and we may have already sent your money to the seller. Similarly, if the seller is posting the book, the seller must send the buyer the proof of tracked postage within five days of sale. For example, if the sale was made on the 1st September 2020, the seller will have until 23.59 o’clock on the 5th September 2020 to provide proof of tracked postage. If the buyer has not received the proof of tracked postage within five days of the sale date, they must contact UnidBooks within the 24 hour notification period.

More information on Stripe fees can be found here: https://stripe.com/gb/pricing. More information on PayPal fees can be found here: https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/paypal-fees.

Once you have met up and have received the book, you have accepted possession of the book. By accepting possession of the book you are accepting the condition of the book and agreeing that the book matches the seller’s description online. If you are not happy with the book, do not accept the book and contact us immediately within five days of purchase.
Selling
The seller should take a photo/video just before meeting with the buyer to prove the condition of the book upon exchange. If a photograph or video is not taken prior to exchange we cannot guarantee that the item condition is accurate. If you no longer wish to sell an item that you have already listed on our site, it is your responsibility to delete the item from your ‘selling history’ in your account.
